Sarashmi started my career as a media professional, working in tournaments like the FIFA U17 World Cup, and then as a tabloid journalist, briefly dabbling in HR. She took a break to complete her diploma in Public Relations at Grant MacEwan University, Edmonton. After that, she took on the role of Digital Communications Specialist at the formerly named West Kootenay EcoSociety, now called Neighbours United. She worked my way up to become the Administrative and Development Coordinator there for her remaining 2 years, where she launched and delivered successful fundraising campaigns and headed strategic donor stewardship until she found her footing at FLFE as a Customer Support Specialist.
Communication is one of her core competencies, both written and verbal. Customer relationship management, event management, and administration are her other strengths.
What’s the most noticeable change you experienced when FLFE was activated on your home or phone?
“I noticed improved communication between my partner and I and a sense of calm within that I’d been long searching for. My plants also look really happy now!”
When you’re not at FLFE, what are you doing?
“When I’m not at FLFE, you’ll find me by the water, or anywhere there’s music because dancing is my one true love. I also really enjoy cooking and playing the piano to bide time.”

One of her own, “Detach yourself from outcomes and people. We are all tiny figments of the same collective consciousness. Whatever irritates you, is a projection of what you need to heal within yourself.”
