Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity, also known as EMF Sensitivity, is a condition with symptoms, such as skin problems, and nervous system issues often triggered by exposure to EMFs from our environment. These symptoms can be similar to those experienced by people with chemical sensitivities.
Some experts recommend limiting one’s exposure to EMF, but in our technology-driven world, it is becoming harder to avoid EMFs. This is why EMF mitigation is so important.
FLFE offers an EMF mitigation service to help ease these symptoms and allow our bodies the opportunity to better adapt to these fields. This research study aims to build on previous research and to further explore and validate the effects of this service.
Study Details
The ‘Why’: FLFE’s goals were threefold:
The ‘Who’: 40 self-identified EMF-sensitive individuals with no prior exposure to the FLFE service
The ‘How’: Participants filled out three questionnaires on the intensity and frequency of 30 most common EMF symptoms over a period of 45 days. Upon completing the baseline questionnaire on Day 0, the FLFE service was activated on the property and mobile device (or a portable object) of each participant. On Day 15, participants filled out a follow-up survey and on Day 45, participants filled out a final survey.
The ‘When’: Data collection occurred between April 2022 and August 2023.
The ‘Where’: Data collection occurred remotely (i.e., in the home/personal environment of each participant).
