Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity, also known as EMF Sensitivity, is a condition with symptoms, such as skin problems, and nervous system issues often triggered by exposure to EMFs from our environment. These symptoms can be similar to those experienced by people with chemical sensitivities.
Some experts recommend limiting one’s exposure to EMF, but in our technology-driven world, it is becoming harder to avoid EMFs. This is why EMF mitigation is so important.
FLFE offers an EMF mitigation service to help ease these symptoms and allow our bodies the opportunity to better adapt to these fields. This research study aims to build on previous research and to further explore and validate the effects of this service.
EMF Mitigation Symptom Checklist: Exploratory Retrospective Study
The ‘Why’
FLFE’s goal was to complete initial/exploratory measures of FLFE’s EMF Mitigation program on a sample of FLFE customers post introduction to this program and to determine if it could help individuals suffering from EMF sensitivities.
The ‘Who’
56 FLFE customers who agreed to evaluate the effects of the newly deployed EMF Mitigation program.
The ‘How’
A short 3-question survey including 16 possible symptom improvements that could be checked was administered 14 days after the EMF Mitigation program was activated.
The ‘When’
Data collection occurred in November of 2018.
The ‘Where’
Data collection occurred remotely (i.e., in the home/personal environment of each participant).
Statistical Significance: This was an initial exploratory study with no control comparisons; therefore, no statistical tests were indicated.
